I spent 2 day is Jackson hole and it was so smoky I left 3 days early. You will be able to see how smoky it was, even the air smelled of smoke. I went to Oxbow Bend to see if I could see bears and didn't (should have gone back later and waited) so I went back and bought a picture. I had breakfast at a ranch north of Oxbow. There was so much smoke I did before and after of the Grand Tetons
Jackson Hole. This was a wonderful place to walk around and the food was good. The shops were upscale and very expensive.

Oxbow Bend at dawn. I came to see Moose and Bears and saw neither. What I did see was a great sunrise. If I had it to over again I would gone to breakfast and then come back. I just happened to stumble upon a great restaurant.
