Today was a full day. I went from Gardiner, MT to Jackson Hole, WY. The road that I was going to take through Lamar Valley was closed so I had to backtrack. I saw more elk, bison, squirrels, birds. I also saw the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, the rapids in the Yellowstone River and had dinner in Jackson Hole.
Another early start before sunrise. The smoke in the air made sunrises and sunsets spectacular.
The mist on Twin Lake in the early morning added to the quiet of the morning.
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone truly was grand. So many geat pictures I hope you do not get tired. Hiking was easy here and the woods were wonderful.
