This was my final destination today. From Stovepipe Springs it was about an hour drive over a 5000 foot mountain. To see almost anything on this side of the park you would need a 4 wheel drive. They rent them in Furnace Creek and that explains why I was so many. When I got to the "resort" my tent was ready but the facilities were either dirty or broken, so I check out after one night and went back to the other side. Lucky I did this because everything I want to see tomorrow is on the other side of the mountain.
