Mesquite Dunes outside Stovepipe Springs are dunes that change with the wind. Some of the dunes are over 100 feet tall. Looking back I wish I had done more hiking and photography here. This is a peaceful place even though there can be lots of people. Early morning is best, these were taken in the afternoon. Tomorrow I took early morning shots.

I took this with a 200-500 mm lens at about 200 mm so you will get a feeling for the size of the dunes

Beautiful. this was taken with the lens zoomed to 500 mm and they still look far way.
Took some of the warmth away from the original, it added more color.
